Online banking, also known as online banking/e-banking is an electronic payment system that enables customers of a bank to conduct a range of financial transactions through their computers anywhere/anytime
There two ways to sign up for online banking
  1. Click 'Sign Up' from the online banking page on BK website or
  2. Walk in any nearest BK Branch, fill the form
There is no software required to access online banking service. All you need is a computer and Internet connection

  2. Bulk payments (For Cooperate Account Holders)
  3. Transfer funds in between own accounts and to other local bank accounts
  4. View recent transaction
  5. Manage standing orders

All transaction above one million (1,000,000rwf) are overridden by a BK staff after confirmation from the account holder
While Personal online banking is a complimentary service, it may be canceled if there has been no activity for a period of 6 consecutive months. If canceled, you would need to re-register for the service. You would be notified prior to such a change to your service.
If you forget your online Banking Password, you can create a new one right online. In the "Enter your Password" section, click the link stating "Forgotten Password? “In order for us to verify your identity so that you can create a new Password, you will need to provide the answer to one of your Security Questions along with entering a Security Code. Your answers would be to Security Questions that you created when you first registered for Personal online banking. OR fill the password reset form and send it to us on onlinebanking@bk.rw OR walk in any BK branch and fill the form
Sending and receiving information through online banking is more reliable than ever. Encryption helps keep information private (such as your PIN or the transactions you perform) between the bank's system and your Internet browser.
